Our Goat Cheese Workshop
– A real Gourmet Experience on Fuerteventura
Fuerteventura has a long-standing cheese-making tradition. One unique aspect: the island’s cheese is predominantly made from goat’s milk using traditional, artisanal methods.
- A hands-on cheese workshop with insights into:• Selecting and preparing ingredients
- • Traditional production techniques & aging process
- Make your own cheese:• Craft your very own small goat cheese
- • Discover young, half matured, and matured cheeses
- Tips & tricks for storing cheese at home
- A guided tour of the farm (approx. 500 m light walking)
- Cheese tasting of various types, accompanied by white wine
Smell, touch, and taste – experience cheese with all your senses. This workshop offers a deep dive into the art of cheese-making and is a true culinary highlight for food lovers.
- Group size: min. 8 – max. 16 participants
- Duration: approx. 2.5 hours at the farm, plus transfer time
- Location: Goat farm near Ajuy
- Transfer: Hotel pick-up available from the south of the island
