The most beautiful volcano on the island is located inland.

The bizarre landscapes and deserted areas have a special character. It seems to be an untouched piece of earth. While we hike on gravel roads to the volcano, we take in cultivation areas. It is not without reason that the desert island was once an important cultivation area.

Hardly anyone knows that even the craters of the volcanoes were used for agricultural purposes. We show you these secret corners on our tour.

The walled-in basins made it possible to use the crater as a volcanic garden when it rains.

The volcano is 461 meters high. After about 100 meters of altitude we reach a view point to take a break. The unique view will surely offer you a wonderful contrast to the otherwise well-known Fuerteventura. The crater entrance is about 350 meters and is easily manageable for experienced hikers.

After 2.5 hours of hiking in the volcanic area, we visit a Canarian farm on Fuerteventura.

Here we would like to show you the unknown side of Fuerteventura. Thanks to the good cooperation with local farmers, these active tours are possible.

A visit to an organic aloe vera farm or a visit to a cheese dairy is included.

Due to the ongoing Corona situation, we will confirm shortly beforehand which farm is open, as opening times and availability may change.

A local snack with local products as goat cheese and red wine is included.

The excursion starts in the south of the island. The minibus takes you to the center of the island to Tiscamanita. We will be on foot for about 2.5 hours. The entrance to the main crater is about 350 m and is only suitable for sure-footed guests.

For this reason, sturdy, closed-toe shoes with a profile are very important for the volcanic slopes. The tour on Fuerteventura is characterized as a medium hike. Walking distance approx. 6-7 km.

Seguidamente visitamos una finca rural auténtica de la isla. Hemos visto dromedarios, nos han dado a probar vinos, aceites, quesos... Elaborados allí. Al comentarle a nuestra guía que queríamos visitar una quesería nos ha llevado hasta ella y hemos podido probar diferentes quesos de leche de cabra Majorera. Nos ha sorprendido el gran trabajo de Kristina, que nos ha asesorado en todo momento, ha resuelto todas nuestras dudas y ha estado dispuesta a cualquier propuesta.   • "Brillant" Well worth going on. The organisation is very adaptable to the participants. Our wonderful guide was informative and knowledgeable and we greatly appreciated their several replies with help in joining the trip. Walking was at the pace of the participants with frequent pauses to learn about the flora and fauna encountered. In many years holidaying on the island we had not explored the wilds before nor found out so much about the formation of the land and the development of the cultivation and peoples.
