We begin the day with a pick-up from your hotel, where we will take you directly to the starting point of the hike. 
Accompanied by experienced local guides, you will embark on a fascinating hike to the base of the volcano, exploring its natural surroundings. We will spend about three hours in this protected area, climbing the path up to the volcanic crater. 
The ascent and descent consist of volcanic rocks and boulders. The ground can be slippery and is only suitable for guests with a good fitness level. 

As you climb the paths surrounded by a lunar landscape, you will enjoy a panoramic view of the crater, ancient lava flows, and the surrounding wld outdoors. Although the volcano is no longer active, you can still feel the powerful energy of the place.

We will make stops to rest and take impressive photos. Your guide will share stories about the local flora and fauna, as well as myths and legends of the volcano. We’ll provide you with a sandwich to enjoy at the crater viewpoint. 
At the summit, you will reach a breathtaking viewpoint, where the spectacular view will leave you speechless. It’s the perfect place to soak in the landscape and take unforgettable photos!

Tinerary

Pick-up in the south of the island, in front of your hotel.
9.30 AM - Arrival at the volcanic area in Tiscamanita
9.30-11.00 AM - Hike to the volcano and ascent
11.00-11.30 AM - Break and Snack
11.30-12.30 PM - Descent and return to the starting point
12.30 PM - Departure and return transfer to your hotel in the south of the island.

  • Una experiencia super completa! Kristina, nuestra guía, ha diseñado una ruta por el volcán, hemos podido caminar hasta el interior de su cráter. Seguidamente visitamos una finca rural auténtica de la isla. Hemos visto dromedarios, nos han dado a probar vinos, aceites, quesos... Elaborados allí. Al comentarle a nuestra guía que queríamos visitar una quesería nos ha llevado hasta ella y hemos podido probar diferentes quesos de leche de cabra Majorera. Nos ha sorprendido el gran trabajo de Kristina, que nos ha asesorado en todo momento, ha resuelto todas nuestras dudas y ha estado dispuesta a cualquier propuesta. Consideramos sus tours totalmente recomendables.

  • "Brillant" Well worth going on. The organisation is very adaptable to the participants. Our wonderful guide was informative and knowledgeable and we greatly appreciated their several replies with help in joining the trip. Walking was at the pace of the participants with frequent pauses to learn about the flora and fauna encountered. In many years holidaying on the island we had not explored the wilds before nor found out so much about the formation of the land and the development of the cultivation and peoples.
